Clinical/Research Interests

William R. Lewis' study of immediate exercise treadmill testing of chest pain patients in the emergency room has shown the safety and efficacy of exercise for potential myocardial infarction patients. He is also examining the appropriateness of referrals for echocardiography and potential benefits of vitamin E in patients with stable angian.
