Fellowship program

Fellows receive four to five months of research time during their fellowship.  Several projects are available for fellows to choose for their research experience:

  • Inflammation in chronic renal failure: clinical and molecular aspects
  • Molecular biology of hepatic gene expression in nephrotic syndrome
  • Molecular biology of signal transduction
  • Computer-assisted modeling of solute kinetics during dialysis
  • Vascular access monitoring
  • Innovative dialysis management of patients with acute renal failure
  • Home dialysis
  • A broad range of clinical topics in dialysis
  • Any additional topics of interest in collaboration with a non-nephrology faculty member

Application process
